Cartouche & Colors Symbolism:

Oval rope loop: an encircling believed to provide protection and encompass the name/word within

Horizontal bar: placed at the end of the oval, is a pedestal or foundation—suggesting the name/word within is supported.

Black: used to paint walls, it was the color of life-giving silt left by the Nile inundation, also fertility and new life.

Gold: the tie of the rope to the bar—seen as a divine and indestructible metal—connected to the sun god, Ra.

Blue: the color of the heavens and life-giving water, such as the annual flood.

Green: represents spring growth, new life and afterlife, the eye of Horus, and has protective properties.

Typography, geometry, abstraction are the roots beneath my work.
